There are two worlds, you see, within and without,
One whispers in silence, the other in shouts.
The heart beats steady in its quiet refrain,
While the world outside hums with pleasure and pain.

We are told of the path, straight, narrow, and clear,
Where beauty is measured, and success is near.
But our souls are wild, like the roots of a tree,
Reaching deeper and deeper to find what is free.

Who defines beauty? Is it skin, is it bone?
Is it the glimmer of gold, or a heart made of stone?
Or perhaps it’s the light only seen in the dark,
The invisible fire of a soul’s deepest spark.

We grow like the tides, pulled by moon, by the sea,
By the voice of the mind, or the heart’s quiet plea.
To follow the crowd, to mirror their song,
Or to carve our own path where we truly belong.

The world tells us “listen,” “be small,” “be enough,”
But our spirits rise up, they are wild, they are tough.
For beauty is boundless, it’s written in scars,
It’s the pain and the healing that makes us who we are.

Close your eyes now, feel the world deep inside,
It’s there that your truth and your beauty reside.
Not in the mirror, not in the voices you hear,
But in the quiet reflection of a heart that is clear.

So grow with the wind, bend but don’t break,
Let your roots intertwine with the choices you make.
For the world outside may tell you what to see,
But the world within holds the key to be free.
