I stand on the edge of tomorrow,
Heart heavy with the weight of today,
A trembling soul beneath a sky so vast,
Yet I dare not turn away.

Each breath a quiet battle,
Between the yearning and the fear,
To step forward into the unknown,
Or retreat to where shadows disappear.

I am afraid of the dawn,
Of the light that reveals my scars,
But even more of the darkness,
Where dreams are but distant stars.

There is a whisper in the silence,
A voice that calls my name,
It speaks of hope, of a path unseen,
And of the beauty in this endless game.

I clutch the threads of existence,
Fingers raw from holding tight,
For in this fragile weave of life,
I find both terror and delight.

I want to see what tomorrow brings,
Though my heart is full of doubt,
For every ending holds a beginning,
And every fear, a way out.

So I linger on the threshold,
Between the night and the day,
Afraid to live, yet afraid to leave,
But still, I choose to stay.

For in the dance of the uncertain,
In the storms and in the calm,
There lies a truth I cannot ignore,
That life, with all its chaos, is a balm.

So I will walk this narrow path,
With trembling feet and steady gaze,
Embracing both the fear and hope,
For tomorrow’s light, in today’s haze.

I am afraid, but I am alive,
And in this simple, sacred truth,
I find the strength to carry on,
To see what lies beyond my youth.

For in the end, it is not the fear,
Nor the sorrow that defines my soul,
But the courage to face each day,
And the will to make it whole.
